Access Keys

The access key shortcuts are allocated as follows:

• m - Main Page
• x - Skip top navigation / Jump to main content area
• z - Access keys information
• p - Site map
• i - Contact info
• c - Catalogue
  • s - Catalogue Search
  • u - Museum Abbreviations
  • g - Genus-Group Names
  • l - Literature Cited
• a - Species Accounts
• t - Type Gallery

Access keys are keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse.

Windows users can navigate with the accesskey feature by typing 'ALT + Accesskey'. Mac users would use 'CTRL + Accesskey'. Internet Explorer users may also need to press the 'ENTER' key to activate the link.

The accesskey feature is currently supported by the following web browsers:

• Internet Explorer 4+ (Windows), 5+ (Mac)
• Netscape 6+ (Windows)
• Opera 7 (Windows and Linux)
• Mozilla (Windows and Linux)
